Two finger scroll like mac

I personally prefer two finger scrolling along with Natural Scrolling enabled.

What is this Natural Scrolling you ask? Natural Scrolling is a term popularized by Apple. It is similar to the way you scroll on your mobile devices. Moving your finger from the bottom to the top, makes the content move down. This is how you would read a long piece of paper as well.

Trackpad gestures

Switching off Natural Scrolling means that moving your fingers down would move the content on the screen downwards. Hope this short guide was helpful to all of you. How do you like your scrolling settings?

Do you like Natural scrolling since it seems to be the norm these days? Let us know your thoughts and suggestions in the comments below! I am an avid Linux lover and open source enthusiast.

Enable/Disable Two-Finger Scrolling through the Command Line

I use Ubuntu and believe in sharing knowledge. Apart from Linux, I love classic detective mysteries. I'm a huge fan of Agatha Christie's work. No need to restart or anything.

Edge scrolling will be back. Here is a tutorial I wrote, in case you need screenshots: Enable edge scrolling in Ubuntu Please log in again. The login page will open in a new tab. After logging in you can close it and return to this page.

Two-Finger Scroll Not Working

If someone has a solution, please help me out. Thanks in advance. Sam Sam 31 10 10 bronze badges. Please edit your post to have acceptable English, and tell us what you've already tried. The scroller allows for gestures like click and drag to do kinetic scrolling. Specifically it will react on single touch points when using a touch screen and dual touch points when using a touchpad. Actualy i am working on Qt 4. Please suggest me alternate solution. I don't think touch has been supported well previously. You can also try to implement your own kinetic scrolling and make it so that the QScrollArea that you have it in has a strong focus.

Then handle the mouseScrollEvents to do kinetic scrolling. Some other ways to get it to happen on Qt 4. Its working perfectly with mouse wheel , but with trackpad or touchpad moving two fingers verticaly upward and downward it reads only as one scroll as we move mouse wheel only one time.
